ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HEALTHCARE & TEACHING PROGRAMS $10,000

Working with the Liberian Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education C3 has 21 active scholars in which C3 pays for tuition for their entire education in return for at least 2 years a commitment of working back in Grand Cape Mount within the public government sector to serve their home community after graduation.

HOUSING FOR LOCAL HOSPITAL STAFF AND TEACHERS $20,000

The Ministry of Education has donated land for C3 to build lodging for local public workers in the Health and Education Sector. A major recruitment obstacle is lack of decent affordable housing for local government workers.

SOLAR POWERED LABORATORY AND BLOOD BANK FOR ST. TIMOTHY’S HOSPITAL $50,000

FULLY FUNDED!

Robertsport is off the electric grid as is most of Liberia outside of the capital. Generators are used for electricity but fuel is expensive and the generator are unreliable. Currently there is new lab equipment and a blood storage unit sitting not being utilized due to lack of electricity an due to lack of AC cooling. C3 is partnering with an American NGO who specializes in installing and maintaining solar panel systems in Liberia specifically for health care facilities.

CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING $5,000

C3 paid for the Liberian mark Luke to receive paramedic education in the US and now is part of the Ministry of Health. Mark has created a CPR and First AID training course for the entire country. These funds will support his staff who volunteer with travel and course supplies.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER EDUCATION $10,000

Many primary schools in Liberia outside of the cities are taught by local volunteers who do not have a proper teaching certificate. C3 is partnering with the Ministry of Education to fund a part-time education program for these volunteers who will go be trained on weekends and holidays so they can receive the proper teacher certificate.

C3 is attempting to supply books for the Robertsport Public High School as well as the only private secular healthcare college in Monrovia, The Smythe Institute. C3 is also creating a literacy program for adults in Robertsport.

Currently there is no functioning ambulance to transport critically ill patients to St. Timothy's Hospital or to the tertiary hospital in Monrovia.  Patients currently have no means for free transport.
